obama.jpgIt's a rare occasion when Halloween is filled with French superstars, a shoe drop and an epic screening. And that was just the case last Friday, when Nike Sportswear presented Justice documentary A Cross The Universe, followed with the highly-anticipated launch of the Busy P x Nike Air Force 1 sneaker at Hollywood hotspot Nike Sportswear at The Montalbán. Fader TV was on hand to cover the event for their LA Is A Nice Place To Live series.

The last Wednesday of every month marks the first in a series of video DJ sets at Winston's in Hollywood. Classic 80's, Hip Hop, Rock and Pop videos are cut to the beats of DJ Spider, DJ Steve1der, Mister Best (Smash Bros.) and DJ Haul. Guaranteed a great way to get the party rolling into Halloween madness, costumes are encouraged. But your fiercest dancing shoes will get you through the door for sure.

2965407109_374a4e34bc_b.jpgThis past Tuesday, October 21 marked the opening of Adele Lack's highly-anticipated solo exhibition "Small Miracles" at The Montalbán Gallery in Hollywood. The Berlin artist created a series of 27 micro paintings that are so small, they require a magnifying glass to view them. The collection of tiny tableaus drew a massive crowd of VIP guests at the private opening and has been generating much attention. Not to be missed, the show will be on view through Sunday, October 26.

WONDERMENTAL-500.jpgLola's Los Angeles solo exhibition "The Wondermental" opens at Corey Helford Gallery on Saturday, October 25. I am looking forward to her highly-anticipated show, which will feature twenty two new works and tells the story of a little boy who escapes from home. In addition to Lola's amazing artistic talent, she handpicks all of the antique frames for her paintings, often finding them at swap meets. Love this special touch!!
