What are your thoughts about the digital revolution and do you shoot digitally at all?
I prefer using analog. I appreciate the tradition of film and will continue to use it until it’s completely dead… However, I understand the beauty and benefits of digital and use it in between photo shots and when I’m loading my RZ67 camera with film, but especially when I travel and at parties.
Are you a camera person or is that something secondary to your process?
The camera is primary to my process. It’s an important part of my process. Photography acts as a way of drawing or as a tool to construct and compose my images for my paintings.
If you had to put one album on your IPOD what would it be?
Nancy Sinatra “how does that grab you”, or Nina Simone “Don’t let me be misunderstood”
What do you consider your greatest artistic achievement?
Making art daily.

Yes, I lived before the internet…..

Everywhere is my favorite city when I’m there.
